Chinese manufacturers are betting on high-def resolution to tide over the PMP market in these tough times, and I think they’re onto something. I have no idea how much the Gemei X690HD and the T9, successor of the RAmos T8, will go for, but my guess they will be pretty reasonable. Gemei will have the Ingenic Chinachips 720p chip most likely. Ainol’s V3000HD uses a similar chip. Still proof is in the pudding; we’re hoping for a review video soon
