If you can’t wait for the next iteration of the T-Mobile G1, then we’ve got good news for you. Some specs have managed to leak out already and if it is indeed true, you could expect a QWERTY-less touchscreen hitting the market sometime in April. However, it does come with slightly impressive features such as a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, Enterprise capabilities, voice dialing, and memory card expansion slot supporting up to 16GB in capacity. It was also disclosed that the G2 will also be available on another global carrier albeit using a different name since the G1, G2, G3, etc names are trademarks of T-Mobile. Likewise, according to the informant of BGR, there is already a G3 on the way though no details were given as to its specs or availability.

While this bit of info came from a reliable source, we’ll chuck this one under rumors as anything can happen from now until its release so it’s best to hold out on any premature celebration until we get official confirmation on the G2’s existence and availability.
