If you’re still a little heartbroken over the fact that the whole $99 iPhone 3G Walmart rumor wasn’t true, then maybe the $99 AT&T refurbished iPhone 3G can turn that frown upside down and cheer you up a little bit. Sure, it’s not a completely new device, but the savings you’ll be getting are off the charts. The 8GB refurbished unit from AT&T is selling for just $99 on a 2-yr contract while the 16GB variant available in either black or white is retailing for just $199. That’s a whopping $100 worth of savings albeit coming from the refurbished stock, but with analysts predicting tougher times are ahead of us, I sure don’t mind if it isn’t completely brand new.
