Zune 30 owners have encountered on New year’s eve. The bug freezes Zune 30s and apparently has no effect on other Zunes. The solution is to completely drain the battery. Oddly, the problem clock in relation to leap years. Zunescene has a quick fix for the bold.

i don’t know if my 30 gb zune has the y2k virus but the software won’t detect the zune. i can still charge my zune and do other stuff with my software, though.
