The iPod Touch will have a legitimate competitor when the Walkman X1000 comes out. The touchscreen Walkman is a 3-inch OLED touchscreen PMP that boasts wireless Internet and fancy noise-cancelling technology. The iPod Touch may have the App Store, but the X1000 has a better screen and arguably better media playback features. It plays WMV, MPEG-4, AVC and MP3, WMA, AAC, which is pretty standard. The X1000 can play Youtube videos directly, unlike the iPod. Price still to be announced but capacities are in 16GB and 32GB options.
