edge-browser-for-iphoneIn a somewhat late but nevertheless welcome move, Apple has finally approved 3rd party internet browsers to be offered in the App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s certainly took awhile for Apple to finally agree and many felt Apple would just limit internet browsing to Safari, but lo and behold, internet browser options are now available. Among the first batch approved is the Edge Browser. It allows for full screen browsing and is free. Meanwhile, the Incognito browser which features anonymous web surfing cost $1.99. The Webmate browser that provides tabbed browsing, on the other hand, is a bit more affordable at $0.99. We’ll most likely see more internet browsers in the App Store in the coming months and hopefully, the highly anticipated Mobile FireFox aka Fennec will be one of them.
