Are you an owner of the pioneering model of the iPod Nano? Yeah, I’m referring to those easy-to-scratch 1G iPod Nano which started a completely new line of PMPs for Apple.

Well, thanks to a class-action lawsuit that was filed against Apple regarding those uncoated 1G iPod Nano PMPs, concerned individuals can now get paid $15 or $25 depending on which iPod Nano (with a slip case or without a slipcase) they own. Most of these 1G iPod Nanos were made before December 2005, but just to be sure, you can head on over to the iPhone Nano Settlement website to verify if you’re indeed qualified to claim damages. Unfortunately, this is only limited to purchases made in the US, but I wouldn’t be surprised if lawyers in other countries try to cash in on this latest development and sue Apple as well in their homeland to get their share of the goods.

I have no idea how you could scratch an ipod like in the photo. I have had one since they first came out and yes it is scratched but nothing like the pic. It must have got run over or something
I also have the latest nano but still prefer the 1st gen one.

A first gen nano isnt a PMP, its a DAP. It has no video or picture abilities
