Google Android, Software

memoryupoIf you’re a T-Mobile G1 owner and you’ve already download and using the MemoryUp Personal app right now, it’s best to remove that app and read on. A lot of G1 users have been reported lost data as a result of the MemoryUp app. While the app is supposed to optimize memory to speed up Android’s performance and efficiency, apparently it deletes user data to free up memory for Android to run faster. The reports range from erased contact lists to clear SD memory cards, which should be enough to scare anyone. So I guess this should be fair warning to all you folks out there; be careful what you download via the Android Market because you might just get more than what you bargained for.
