Japanese tech company Toshiba has a strong presence in the mobile world, even if we don’t see them much outside Japan. Now they’ve announced the TG01, which will be using the Snapdragon processor, the first such phone in the world. Toshiba’s TG01 will be an unbelievable machine once the company decides to release it worldwide. Here’s the skinny: 4.1-inch WVGA touchscreen, 9.9mm (thinner than iPhone by 2mm), Windows Mobile 6.1 with Toshiba’s own 3D UI, HSDPA, WiFi and GPS plus HD support. It will be coming out worldwide in the summer.
Toshiba is promising lots more for TG01 users like one-handed operation and customizability. With 1GHz of processing power, wild gaming should also be on the menu. It’s one heck of an iPhone killer, if you ask me.
