The Toshiba TG01 looks pretty sleek and promising based on its specs, but this Samsung Acme i8910 might just be the touchscreen phone that spoils the party for Toshiba. It’s reported to features an 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording, WiFi, GPS, 3.5mm socket, DLNA, 8GB or 16GB capacities, and possibly an HDMI port as well. No word on the size of the display, but based on the pictures, it looks bigger than what most of Samsung phones carry. Similarly, there’s still no release and pricing details. It may not be as slim as the Toshiba TG01, but with its above-average specs, improved look and coming from a company that has equal, if not more, experience than Toshiba in producing mobile phones, the Acme i8910 is a prime contender in my book. We’re not sure if this will be showcased at the WMC, but we’re certainly hoping that it will.
