Acer will be releasing a total 8 Tempo phones this year, saving the last and best four towards the end. The F1, E1, C1 and L1 all look lethal enough to get Acer a sizable slice of the smart mobile market in a very short time. Even better news is the pricing of all Acer phones, which are rumored to be next to nothing when tied in to a carrier.
I like how Acer is literally jumping off the plank into the cellphone market. They have a veritable army of pretty good phones on the ready, and whatever iPhone fanatics have to say about the blandness of the specs and hardware, it’s highly likely that Apple will slide down in the smartphone rankings this year, even with a Nano version later on.
