Philips has just unveiled two new PMPs that will further boast their GoGear line-up: the GoGear Ariaz and the GoGear Opus. The GoGear Ariaz comes with a 2-inch LCD display, FM tuner, and will be available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB variants. The GoGear Opus, meanwhile, comes with a bigger 2.8-inch LCD display and offers Bluetooth as well. It’ll be available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB options. Both models support MP3, WMA, AAC audio; MPEG4 SP, WMV9 videos and JPEG image formats and can likewise do voice recording via the built-in microphones. It’s not quite as stylish as the GoGear Luxe, and with the lack of a touchscreen display, there’s really nothing extra ordinary about these new PMPs, but nonetheless, they’re a welcome addition to the GoGear family.
