Here’s another e-book reader that tries to take a stab at the Kindle 2, the Onyx Boox. It also comes with a 6-inch 16 shades of gray capable display but ups the ante by making it a touchscreen in lieu of the lack of dedicated keys and controls on the device itself. It also features WiFi, 512MB internal memory, and support for a variety of formats which include PDF, HTML, TXT, MOBI, JPG, BMP and MP3 just to name a few. It also boasts of text to speech which certainly narrows the gap between its features and the Kindle 2 and is definitely more than what we can say about the NUUT2. No pricing and availability info just, but we’ll probably get more details regarding this new e-book reader once it debuts at CeBIT.
