For the price of a 2GB iPod Shuffle, AOC is offering potential customers an 8GB video player. AOC is not as familiar to us as, say, Meizu, Teclast or RAmos but I have to admit the M30, the 3rd model in the ICOO series, is a classy player. It has a 3-inch screen with playback for RM, RMVB, AVI (XviD / DivX), FLV, MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC with PlayFX audio enhancement and built-in games on top of other features like FM tuner and TF card slot.
It’s available in black and pink. Someone in Vietnam is selling a 12GB version for about $74. Ouch!

Where can I buy the ICOO M30?

I bought one in China for RMB300 (about US$45) & satisfied with it. It’s look is really cool & the unit is really light / portable. Picture quality is good & sound quality is decent. The main drawbacks are:
- screen very susceptable to fingerprints
- less than desirable battery life (4 hrs for watching movie)
- display may not be bright enough for night scene
