Mio has announced a GPS phone before, this touchscreen phone with Mitac UI but we never heard of it again. The K70 or Explore seems to be a more earnest announcement. It’s beautiful, too. It doesn’t run Windows CE anymore but Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and it looks way better than Garmin’s Nuviphone.
The specs are impressive: 3.5-inch touchscreen, Qualcomm MSM7201A 528MHz CPU, 3.5G (HSDPA, HSUPA), WiFi, GPS and A-GPS with compatibility with popular navigation software, 3MP camera.
You can use the GPS for 4 hours, though of course, we’d prefer more battery life.
