Yes, this is another Chinese clone of a popular mobile device. We didn’t think it would happen so soon, but then again, the Toshiba TG01 doesn’t exactly have the most unique design. Venus used to be a pretty prolific PMP manufacturer. These days, it’s taking it easy, being more deliberate in its releases. The JXD318 has a much smaller 3-inch screen compared to the TG01 and utilizes buttons instead of a capacitive touchscreen. Apparently, besides its resemblance to Toshiba’s snapdragon phone, JXD318 should be most proud of its TV in/out function and its 1.3 megapixel camera with video capture. No pricing yet.
