Atree disappoints somewhat after “teasing” us with a new player in shadow and disco lights. As it turns out, there’s nothing reall hype-worthy about the “Red Ee” J2 PMP. It’s looks adorable at least, with several color choices that should appeal to school kids, very young school kids. The Korea release does not include price. Specs are too ordinary: 2.4-inch screen, support for AVI and WMV and various audio files that includes OGG and Flac. The Atree J2 has Flash 3.0 support, a dictionary and 4GB and 8GB storage options. Dapreview rightfully thinks it’s too much like the iRiver E100.
