Both the iPhone 3G jailbreak and Yellowsnow 3G iPhone unlock have been released already, and probably the next big challenge for hackers is the 2G iPod Touch jailbreak. The iPhone Dev Team has released a video demo of it last month, and while they have managed to come out with a solution, it wasn’t as perfect as everyone expected (read: tethered). Well, that was until today. QuickFreedom has been released which provides users with a GUI to help you successfully jailbreak your 2G iPod Touch. This isn’t a new jailbreaking app from the iPhone Dev Team as they’re still working on integrating the patch to address the tethering issue into QuickPwn and their Pwnage tool. So, if you’ve been itching to get your 2G iPod Touch jailbroken, go and give QuickFreedom a try and tell us how it works out for you.
