UMID’s 4.8-inch m1 mbook will not have its US release just yet. It’s understandable what with the minor fiasco on its Korea debut as reported by CNET. Besides its tiny form factor, this mini netbook has built-in 3G, besides the WiFi connectivity. Slated for a May or June release, the people of UMID have backtracked not only on the date but possibly for any sort of US release. An M1 mbook will inded be released in Europe with HSDPA and WiMAX support but so far no US 3G. Too bad, really, since I know many of you have been looking forward to doing the Internet while walking.
