Mobile is reporting a planned price cut for the iPhone in the UK by exclusive distributor O2. The reason is stock cleaning, it would seem. 02 expects a new iPhone in June or July. The new iPhone 2,1 could be as interesting as an Apple phone wearing a Nano tag.
Before, O2 subscribers paid between £59 and £159 for the iPhone 3G depending on contract. It will be free for customers in May.
Well, it looks like the new iPhone is as good as true. The only thing we have to ask is if will indeed be a Nano.
