We’ve heard about the Samsung Omnia HD already, but there were rumors floating around that a Windows Mobile 6.5-based version will be released as well. Well, sad to say, that speculation has been shot dead as it has been confirmed that Samsung will not give Microsoft’s new OS a go on the Omnia HD due to its delayed release. However, on a similar note, it was indicated that an Android Omnia is indeed in the works along with a host of other Omnia phones since the Omnia brand is not just a specific phone, but rather, a new family or series of phones from the no. 2 mobile phone manufacturer in the world. So, there might still be hope to see a Windows Mobile 6.5-based Omnia in the market, but it just won’t be the Omnia HD.

what’s so good about android? seems like you get a lot less because there isn’t as much support for it, as winmo and iphone have plenty of apps for them.
