We’re still not quite sure what it’ll look like, but according to an AT&T mole, there will indeed be a new iPhone and the grand reveal will be made sometime in June. It’s expected to be much faster, and provide a more seamless user experience unmatched by any of the current devices in the market today. This could just be the result of iPhone 3.0 firmware, but word is that it might also include HSDPA 7.2Mbps connectivity which basically means there will definitely be hardware changes as well. A U-Verse iPhone app was also mentioned which will allow users to control their home DVR system.
There’s really no mention about what this new iPhone will offer design-wise. They do, however, mention that this new iPhone should suffice for those looking for more capabilities but don’t necessarily need the high-end phones. This could mean anything for now, but we’re certainly hoping it would be slide-out QWERTY keypad. So, we’re still not sure if this will be an iPhone Nano, a 32GB iPhone, or a completely refreshed 4G iPhone, but what’s certain is that the iPhone launching is now an annual event we can all look forward to.
