
From the land of Hans Christian Andersen comes a new brand of PMPs and the Chinese are real excited. We’ve never heard of ONN ourselves (pronounced “Owen”) but the land of ONDA, Ainol and RAmos seem psyched about it.From the render of a sample ONN PMP, I see the justification for the excitement. It looks like a camera-centric touchscreen PMP with widget support.
We’ve actually scoured the Net for samples of ONN craftsmanship. We’re not hopeful. But, hey, if the Fins can conquer the mobile phone market, why can’t the Danes do the same in the PMP market? And the best place to start, of course, is China.
