I wonder what Lenovo can contribute to the PMP market. A more robust build? Sleeker form factor. Whatever qualities Lenovo laptops have doesn’t seem to translate to the company’s MRT800 portable media player. It doesn’t use a high-definition screen or any other feature that will distinguish it from competitors in China.

Here are the specs:

• 4.3-inch 480 x 272 touchscreen
• RM/RMVB, AVI, ASF, MP4, FLV video
• MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, WAV audio
• TF expansion of up to 4GB

Pretty shabby Lenovo.
