It looks like new iPhone won’t be the only new touchscreen phone we’ll have to keep an eye out for as the BlackBerry Storm 2 is slowly heating up the channels on the interwebz. Word is that this new Storm will finally come with WiFi connectivity. We’re not sure if it’ll be 802.11n compatible, but if that’s too much to ask, 802.11a/b/g should suffice for the time being. It’s also reported that it’ll come with an improved touchscreen display making it easier to type on it. So far, that’s two new things we can expect in the Storm 2, but I’m sure consumers wouldn’t mind if RIM managed to pack a higher megapixel camera on it as well. Anyway, we still don’t know when this actually be released by Verizon, but nonetheless, this does serve to spice things up for the second round in the continuing rivalry between the iPhone and the BlackBerry Storm.
