To get you excited even more for the Palm Pre’s release, Motion Apps has released this video demonstrating how very much capable their Classic Palm OS emulator is in handling games. GTS World Racer is the game and its looks pretty impressive on the Palm Pre. Of course, this is a relatively outdated game, but it clearly shows the potential of the Palm Pre as a serious gaming device apart from being a smartphone. Nonetheless, we’ll still have to wait for the App Catalog app store to open later on in the year after the Palm Pre has been released to find out if there will be any decent gaming apps made available for the Pre. However, with developers digging the new webOS platform, we’re pretty certain that there will be more than one developer willing to take on the task head on.

Honestly, I’m tired of all the “hype.” Release the Pre already so we can make our own assessment of its quality.
