If the Lenovo OPhone can’t beat the Apple iPhone in features and usability, then maybe it can beat it via launch date/ That’s what China Mobile is hoping for if rumors were to be believed. The China Unicom iPhone is expected to launch in June and the OPhone in May. The OPhone is an Android-based touchscreen mobile phone. The knock-offish name alone suggests that Lenovo have always meant it to be an iPhone competitor in China. China Mobile used to be the favorite to get the iPhone contract in China until negotiations with Apple failed to materialize.
