Routon has got two new MIDs on the way, and they’re one of the first, if not only MIDs to come with Android support. Archos is reportedly planning to release one in Q3, but further details regarding that MID are yet to be known.

The P760 and P730 sports similar specs although the former comes with a keypad while the latter doesn’t. They both have a 4.8-inch 800×480 touchscreen display, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR support, EVDO CDMA connectivity of up to 3.1Mbps, while GSM/EDGE and TV Tuner support are optional. Hardware-wise, the P760 and P730 feature a 677MHz Samsung S3C6410 processor at the helm with 256MB RAM and either 4GB or 8GB of storage.
Routon is planning to launch both devices in May, but they’re still looking for overseas distributors so it may not be readily available across the globe. Likewise, Android support doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll come with Android right out of the box, but if they do manage to ship it with Android installed and price it just right, both the P730 and P760 might have a chance at becoming hit in the near future.
