Android Skytone netbook will cost $250

SkyTone Android netbook

Still remember the Skytone Alpha 680 Android netbook we reported a few days back? Well, we’ve got more details that will surely delight those waiting info regarding this particular netbook. In an exclusive interview with Skytone’s co-founder, it was disclosed that the Alpha 680 will use an ARM11 chip similar to the one used on the iPhone, weighs just 1.5lbs which is 25% less than the Asus EeePC 701, and hopes to have Chinese partners producing the said device within 3 months time. Unfortunately, it apparently isn’t going to be less than $100, but its new rumored price of $250 isn’t all that bad either. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that its design will also get a makeover along the way in order to look a bit more sleek and stylish so that it’ll even be more enticing to buy once it is released to the public later this year.
