Nothing lasts but iPhone will keep on going up in the popularity express elevator. So this Verizon iPhone rumors will not become stale until Apple does come out with a CDMA iPhone for the largest wireless carrier in the US.
The latest word comes from USA Today, which claims that sources inside one or both the principal companies confirmed Verizon and Apple are talking of launching for Verizon a CDMA iPhone. The talks are said to be on the highest level and it was during that time Steve Jobs was still at Apple’s helm. AT&T has been enjoying a boom in new sign ups since it launched the iPhone. The company recently reported 1.6 million more subscribers gained from last quarter. Much of this gain will be in danger of a reverse move once a Verizon iPhone materializes.
