We’ve been referring to the next HTC Android phone as the G2, and just a couple of months back, it was renamed the HTC Magic. Well, it seems that it will yet undergo another name change once it gets released on T-Mobile and will be now known as the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. Aside from its new name, it was also revealed that it will be available in three colors: black, white, and merlot. Unfortunately, the leaked document didn’t provide us with any release date or price so we’ll have to wait for those details to surface at a later date. Personally, we’re hoping that it’ll also be launched in June so that it’ll make for a fine face-off between the new Android phone and the new iPhone from Apple.

I got a T-Mobile Wing (HTC) from a guy off of Craigslist who upgraded to the G1. (I’m a Mac, my phone is a PS) My Wing recently started freezing up on me every time I use it and I don’t want to change phone
carriers. A friend of mine owns a Samsung HTC phone from another carrier and likes the customizable features on it which are similar to Android. I just pre-ordered the myTouch 3G today. Looking for more

Take care.
