We already know that there’s a T-Mobile G2/myTouch 3G on the way, but have you heard of the T-Mobile G1 v2? Apparently, T-Mobile will release one later this year and will be available on Walmart as well. Also known as the Bigfoot at T-Mobile and Morrison for Walmart, we’re still not sure what its complete specs are, but from what we can tell, it looks like a union of the G2 and G1 design. It’s not an exact copy of the G2, but it does resemble it to a certain extent and adds a slide out QWERTY keypad inspired by the first T-Mobile G1 Android phone. It’s expected to become available in October for $148 on a 2-yr contract at Walmart and possibly $149.99 from T-Mobile. With this latest development, it’s safe to assume that the attack of the Android phones has officially begun.
