This is Microsoft’s most recent sales pitch for Zune. Zune is not a bad player but the service that comes with your Zune is the real iPod killer. It takes $30,000 to fill the newest iPod from iTunes. Zune Pass, on the other hand, only costs $15 a month. Logical isn’t it. by the way, I don’t know anyone who’s spent $30,000 on digital music, not even $10,000. I know a vinyl collector who’s spent way more than $30,000 but not a single person who spent that amount on iTunes. So either iPod users are getting their music elsewhere besides iTunes (I have known iPod owners who’s filled up their 80GB) or high capacity iPods are better suited for keeping video files, I don’t know.
