Still remember that square Nokia swiveling handset we told you about last month? Well, we’ve got some updates regarding that unit. It just passed and got approved by the FCC, and it’s definitely coming to Verizon. Apart from that, this Nokia model RM-526 also comes with dual-band CDMA/EV-DO, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, and runs on software version VN-2040T13_VZW_108. The exact release wasn’t mentioned, but it looks like it’ll debut this summer. It’s just a shame, though, that there wasn’t a picture of the actual unit available, but what’s apparently certain is that it will indeed be square. Anyway, considering that it has already been approved by the FCC, it’s only a matter of time before we get a leaked shot of it before it goes on retail on Verizon.
