Another deep throat Apple source claims that the next iPhone will be announced July 17th. The source also confirmed a 32GB iPhone, 3.2 MP camera and a compass and apparently, OLED screens will be a part of the iPhone starting this year and video recording. Added features of the iPhone include an FM tuner, 1.5 x better battery life, photo geo-location which combines the camera, GPS, compass and Google map and better processing speed. No word on a different hardware and I’m really hoping this is the one surprise Apple is keeping from the rumor mill. Even better news, the new iPhone will not be slapped with a higher price point soyou’ll be seeing the same $199 and $299 iPhones with a contract. A glowing logo at the back will be added, too, though I’m not sure what for since it will only sap battery life and it’s not exactly make the iPhone pocket friendly.
