Palm Pre officially announced for June 6 for just $199.99

Palm PreThe Palm Pre, one of the new chief rivals of the iPhone, has finally been given a release date and it’ll be happening very soon. Sprint has just announced that it will be available starting June 6th both online and in retail outlets of Best Buy, Radio Shack, and Wal-Mart. How about the price? Well, how does $199.99 (after $100 mail-in rebate) on a 2-yr contract with Sprint sound to you? With the Palm Pre being released earlier than the new iPhone, the question now is; will you still wait for the 32GB iPhone to be announced first before you go out and get yourself a Palm Pre or are you tired of Apple’s shenanigans and totally dumping the iPhone for the Pre and its webOS? Come on, let’s get the ball rolling on this one and let your voices.
