For the most part, Android phones such as the G1 have been exclusive to T-Mobile in the US, but if this leaked slide is true, we will be seeing an Android phone debut on AT&T as well. The HTC Lancaster comes with a 3-megapixel camera, tri-band EDGE, dual-band HSPA (850/1900MHz) connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS, and microSD card expansion slot. It’s a splitting image of the HTC Magic, but slide it sideways and a QWERTY keypad appears for a more convenient way to input text. Of course, this could just be the result of a very creative mind, but with nothing to indicate it being a sham, we’re considering this as the truth for the time being. The target release date is on August 3 which we’re hoping will strictly be followed. Granted that it’s still a whole 2 months away from hitting the market, we’ll probably be reporting more on this new Android phone as the weeks and months go by.

[...] of Nokia phones just waiting to be unleashed in the US market. Add to this list the recently outed HTC Landcaster Android phone, AT&T’s definitely got a new phone to offer each segment of the market. [...]
