If you’re excited about the Sony Ericsson Idou, which we now already now has been renamed as the Satio and will ship in October, you’ll probably be delighted to hear that they’ll be releasing two new additional multi-faceted devices this year as well: the Aino and Yari. The Aino is a 3-inch touchscreen packing slider that boasts of WiFi, Bluetooth, DLNA, A-GPS, and HSUPA connectivity. It also comes with an 8.1-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, accelerometer, motion gaming, Sony Play Remote support, and will ship with an 8GB microSDHC card in Q4. Price, unfortunately, is still unknown. The Yari, meanwhile, features almost the same specs sans the Wifi and coming with a smaller 2.4-inch display, 5-megapixel AF camera, and 1GB microSDHC card in the package. The Yari is priced at €400 or roughly $550 and will be available in Q4 as well. These two certainly look good on paper, and we’re hoping it will equally be as impressive once it goes on retail later this year. Nonetheless, they’ve definitely earned the right to make it to our to-watch-out-for list.
