Everybody’s abuzz over the new iPhone and the Palm Pre, but a couple of years back, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 was the hot topic on the interwebz. No thanks to its delayed release in the market, everyone easily got over their XPERIA X1 hangover and simply moved on. Now, we’re still not quite sure if this is really authentic, but it appears that Sony Ericsson is raring to make a do over with their new XPERIA X2. As far as form factor is concerned, the supposed X2 pictured above carries on the tradition of the X1. Flip it over, and you’ll discover that they’ve upgraded its camera to an 8.1-megapixel shooter as well. So far, that’s all we have for now, but rest assured, we’ll report the freshest news on the new XPERIA phone once we get hold of it.

… Does anyone else think that the keyboard looks too tacky for this camera to be a part of the Xperia brand? I loved the original keyboard, so I wish that they will keep the keyboard the same on this phone too.
