The Palm Pre is now officially available on Sprint. Signing up for a 2-yr contract and availing of a $100 mail-in rebate will land you a $199.99 Palm Pre while getting it sans any further obligation to Sprint (read: contract-free) will cost you $549.99. It’s obviously more expensive without the contract, but it’s still a pretty good deal given the rave reviews this product has been getting. Apart from the standard Li-Ion batter and AC travel charger, a 3.5mm stereo headset, USB cable and carry pouch are all included in standard package. Better hurry, though, because we hear that there aren’t that many Palm Pre units to go around.
