The S in iPhone 3G S means more than just faster 3G speeds, which is now 7.2 mbps, for the new iPhone; it’s also supposed to mean a faster processor. Well, just exactly how fast is the iPhone 3G S Apple did not enlighten us. We have to go all the way to Netherlands to get specifics… well, not literally but it was the Dutch T-Mobile that gives us the first official word on the iPhone 3G S processor: 256 RAM (double the iPhone 3G) and a 600 Mhz processor, which makes a previous leak from the Chinese accurate.
