The Finnish giant is going cheap with its touchscreen XpressMusic phones. The 5530 XpressMusic boasts a 640 x 360 wide screen that’s supposed to be just a shave off 3 inches. It’s not going to be 3G, but it will have WiFi connectivity and of course the S60 smartphone goodness.
The 5800 XpressMusic was a great success for Nokia, having sold over 2 million units so far and it was no cheap electronics from China, for sure. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is another matter. Going for 199 euros or around $298 with no contract sounds too for a touchscreen, WiFi smartphone with a 3.2 MP (LED Flash) camera, it’s too good to pass up (4GB SD card included).
