Just how fast is the iPhone 3G S? Accordng to Anandtech, it’s 54% faster than the iPhone 3G and 11% 21% faster than Palm Pre. Even better, in application launch, it makes Palm Pre eat dust especially on web browser launch and Google Maps. Now, what I’m really interested in is battery life comparisons.

Safe to say, the iPhone 3G S definitely has the makings of a very capable gaming device. Unfortunately, this isn’t publicly available yet since the current iPhone 3.0 jailbreak (redsnow included) still doesn’t work with the iPhone 3G S. This does, however, give something very exciting to look forward to.
