Provided, of course, that you’ve already used either the iPhone 3.0 jailbreak Pwnage tool or redsnow, you can now unlock your iPhone 3.0 running Apple mobile phone using ultrasnow for use on other networks. Simply run Cydia or Icy and add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com. After which, you can then search for ultrasnow in cydia/icy and once found, install it, reboot, and you’re done. T-Mobile USA users, however, are warned to disable 3G first before running ultrasnow.
Nonetheless, apart from that, everything should be as painless and hasslefree as yellowsnow. So, what are you waiting for? Unlock your iPhone 3.0 now with ultrasnow and tell us what you think of the iPhone Dev Team’s latest unlock tool.

Hi Allan,
I recently bought a second hand iphone 3g that’s been jailbroken. In my earneast desire to upgrade to the latest 3.0 firmware, I downloaded it via apple.com (with my SIM inside). After itunes backed up the iphone it downloaded the new firmware and then it went into the “emergency call” mode and locked my phone, (I believe with the local, Philippine, carrier-Globe Telecoms). The message via itunes said that my iphone does not recognize the carrier, Smart, requested me to replace it
with an authorized SIM.
My question is, will ultrasnow be able to remedy my problem? Or if you have any valuable suggestions on the matter I will greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
