We’ve seen what the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 looks like and it doesn’t stray that far away from the pioneering XPERIA X1 smartphone. Now, we’ve got a completely redesigned XPERIA phone to drool over with this new phone codenamed “Rachael”, Sony Ericsson’s first foray into the Android business. An Android-powered XPERIA phone was already being speculated on last year, and was rumored for a grand debut this summer. Add this leaked internal document into the mix, there’s seems to be a lot of truth to the XPERIA Android phone rumor after all. The Sony Ericsson “Rachel” features a speedy 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8-megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, HSPA connectivity, and from the looks of it, gives the slide-out QWERTY keypad option the boot as well. No details yet as to when this will be released, but we’ll definitely keep an eye out for this one.
