Sure, AmazonWireless maybe selling the BlackBerry Storm at a ridiculous price of just $49.99, but it appears that it’s not that costly anymore to get it from Verizon nowadays.
Online, Verizon now has the BlackBerry Storm priced at just $99.99 on a 2-yr contract as it slowly approaches its first year in the market. Yeah, we know it lacks WiFi, its a bit on the hefty side, and there’s a new BlackBerry Storm 2 is on the way, but there’s no definite date on when that will be released, and we’re pretty sure it will cost quite a sum when it officially hits the retail scene. Needless to say, if it’s a touchscreen BlackBerry phone you’re after, the Storm is still your best bet.
Now, if you’ve got an unexplainable devotion to Verizon and don’t want to buy your phone from any other retailer except from Verizon themselves, this bit of news regarding a $100 online discount on the BlackBerry Storm will surely be music to your ears.
