Ever heard of the Nokia 5800i? Neither have I, but that’s exactly what’s been spotted at the FCC and it looks like an identical twin of the 5800 XpressMusic.

Apparently, this new iteration is headed for China with WCDMA 900/2100MHz bands as well as quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity which is a good indication that it could debut on China Unicom. However, unlike its more popular twin, the 5800i, strange as it seems considering the “i” usually means it’s an upgrade, won’t come with WiFi similar to the China-bound iPhone.

Anyway, that’s all we have for now as far as confirmed specs go, but not to worry, we’ll report more on this intriguing Nokia 5800i phone once we get more info on it.
