The Nokia N86 8-megapixel camera phone has been available for quite sometime now across certain parts of the globe, but for US residents, they have yet to get a hold of this in the local market. However, we’ve got good news for you folks that might be able to turn that frown upside down. Word is that Nokia N86 will be debuting in the US this month, on August 22 to be exact. The black version will be available for just $499, fresh, unlocked, and more importantly, $50 cheaper than its previously announced price. For those not familiar with the N86, this is Nokia’s first and only 8-megapixel phone at the moment and also features WiFi, GPS, and an AMOLED display. As of this posting, no US carrier has expressed their intent to carry the N86, but considering Nokia’s fan base and this being an 8-megapixel camera phone, we won’t be surprised if one or two carriers do manage to pick this one up to be part of their line-up.
