Looking to get more done on your Nokia phone? Then this new partnership between Nokia and Microsoft that promises to bring Office Mobile to the Symbian platform will definitely be music to your ears.
That’s right folks! Office Mobile as well as Office Communicator Mobile, SharePoint, and Microsoft System Center will all soon become available on Symbian-running Nokia phones. When these will exactly be released for public use is still anybody’s guess at the moment, but this is, nonetheless, good news for Nokia and Microsoft loyalists. Likewise, they’ve also assured that their collaboration will go beyond the productivity suite as they’ll also be working on coming out with “new user experiences” in future Nokia devices.
We could just be putting too much into this new partnership, but we feel that this could be a key turning point for both companies in asserting their presence and dominance in their respective fields in the industry. How about you guys? What do you make of this new Nokia-Microsoft tandem?

This is a great development!
Let’s face it; the business world revolves around the Microsoft Office suite. So having Office software available on smart phones will be a godsend to busy individuals who are always on the move, no longer restricting them to the confines of the office. It will be particularly useful on road to important meetings as it will allow PowerPoint users to flick through slides and view notes to practice their presentations, or even edit and tweak their PowerPoint files on their morning commute or business trip.
