Google Android will officially be run on Archos devices on September 15. The funny thing is, Archos mentions a 5-inch Internet Tablet. If you remember, Archos has already announced a 5-inch tablet along wth a 7-inch one earlier this year. Is this the same hardware or something totally new? AppsLib has also been soft-launched. It will make available apps for Archos devices that have operating systems like the tablet. Sounds interesting, but then again, it may just be the barely old stuff with a fairly new OS.
